Tripos has been pioneering drug discovery solutions for over 25 years and is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Its drug discovery suite, SYBYL, is the de-facto solution in use by more researchers than any other available solution.

SYBYL is a fully integrated modular solution allowing users to pick and choose modules relevant to their research but yet operate in a fully integrated environment.

SYBYL applications include basic molecular modelling, receptor-based design, ligand-based design, structural biology, library design, cheminformatics and virtual screening.

More recently, Tripos launched its BENCHWARE suite of software developed in direct response to customer demand for more intuitive and scientifically robust predictive chemistry, scientific planning and collaboration applications designed for laboratory scientists.

Laboratory researchers use Microsoft Windows-based BENCHWARE applications to support chemical synthesis and testing decisions; digitally store, search, and retrieve research information; share experimental results with project team members, including computational scientists.
