ISSA Clinical Information Management System (CIMS) ISSA is a DICOM and HL7 compliant multi-modality Clinical Information Management System (CIMS) combining PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) with Clinical Reporting functionalities for stand-alone or LAN / WAN multi-user / multi-locality networked system operating environments. ISSA is the cumulation of over a decade of development by Vamstec, who continues to develop and improve the system based on current technologies and also from customer requirements and feedbacks. ISSA is a US FDA 510(k) approved product which means that it is approved for clinical diagnostic use in the US and is an assurance of the quality and reliability of the product. Being a true multi-modality CIMS, ISSA supports all clinical diagnostic modalities, even those imaging modalities that are non-DICOM compliant. And as a Clinical Reporting system, it is not restricted to only RIS (Radiology Information System) reporting but is equally adept at other clinical diagnostic reporting, such as, Ultrasound, Pathology, Forensic, etc. Best of all, it is an affordable solution that is user-friendly and easy to maintain!
