Welcome to LINDEN BUCKS

(Scientific, Research & Technology Products Business Unit)

The following digital pupillometer is available exclusively from LINDEN BUCKS:

EyeCheck® Digital Pupillometer

The EyeCheck is the only product of its kind in the world.  Based on the medical examination method of Pupillometry that has been practised by medical doctors for centuries, the EyeCheck uses proprietary algorithms to detect human nervous system impairments caused by drugs, alcohol, fatigue, chemical agents and even diseases through our eye pupil.

The EyeCheck is now being used by Law Enforcement Agencies around the world to perform quick, safe and non-invasive tests.  Public and private sector employers are also using the device to detect substance abuse by employees.  While not designed to replace conventional urinanalysis or blood chemistry tests, the EyeCheck complements conventional test methods by minimising unnecessary tests with its high negative and positive probative results.

The EyeCheck is the only product of its kind on the market to have been peer-tested and reviewed by various independent researchers and new uses for the EyeCheck are constantly being developed.  In addition to detecting substance abuse, fatigue and exposure to chemical agents, the EyeCheck is also being used in the medical field.  For example, it is currently being use for diabetes screening in the US and in Africa, it is currently undergoing government-funded testing for screening of Malaria.

MCJ, Inc. also offers the PosiScan for fingerprint and photo biometric verification to be used with the EyeCheck.

In the US, the developer of the EyeCheck, MCJ, Inc. has been contracted by the US Probation and Pre-Trial Services to develop a satellite substance abuse testing and reporting station to be used by parolees and bailees in remote locations.  As a result, the I-SIMS (Interactive Satellite Impairment Monitoring Station), also known as the SDDSR (Satellite Drug Detection Supervision Reporting Station) was developed and are now setup on several sites in Hawaii with monitoring stations based in Honolulu and Helena, Montana.

The I-SIMS or SDDSR allows parole officers to test their parolees for substance abuse remotely with the EyeCheck and thus saving travelling costs and time involved in monitoring parolees in remote locations.
